M Series - Technology

The M Series provides a comprehensive range of system scales and printers to cover all the different requirements of counter service or self-service, pre-pack and point of sale areas.  These terminals can be used in stand-alone mode or linked together into departmental or store-wide networks. The M Series is specifically designed to lower scale operational costs and deliver considerable savings in staff and management time.  Each version incorporates a powerful 32-bit microprocessor, up to eight megabytes of memory to hold product information and printer graphics, and ‘Flash’ memory to simplify future upgrades. Integral printers offer a choice of fast, high quality receipt and/or label printing, while optional ECR functionality and cash drawers create a total point-of-sale system. Print speed of 100 mm per second, even when printing detailed logos and graphics Accommodates double length, extra wide label rolls to allow printing of landscape labels, increase printing capacity and reduce downtime for roll changes. ‘Code Checker’ printhead monitoring system ensures bar codes can be scanned at the checkouts, reducing queues and increasing customer throughput. Easy-clean, quick-change printhead to reduce service times. Receipt Printer  Clamshell option ensures fast and easy roll changing. Can provide product specific information such as cooking times and traceability data. Communications Standard Ethernet networking ensures compatibility with all the latest retail equipment. M Series - Cost of Ownership
